COVID-19 UPDATE! July 12, 2021.
Dear Friends, Family and Community,
We are OPEN and happy to announce a Phase 2 reopening March 10, 2021. Our guidelines will follow the protocol from Governor Inslee, Washington State Health Dept. and restrictions put in place by the CDC, for PHASE 2 REOPENING of 50% capacity. For Presence Studio, this equals Masks worn at all times for people who are “Not Vaccinated,” and a limit of 35 people (not including instructor or facilitators) allowed in the space at any given time. Mask wearing is ONLY optional if you are Vaccinated. Please see our rental guidelines for a checklist of procedure. We will continue to monitor state and city guidelines, with unscheduled closure, should these numbers or state requirements change. Thank you for your patience.
***Classes will continue to be offered online by many of our teachers…and some may even offer hybrid combinations to adhere to state guidelines. Please see our Classes/Events page or About Us Teachers section for contact information.***
Please see the link below for more specifics on Governor Inslee’s current regulations. We fall under the fitness facilities and gyms category.

Whatcom County Health Department recommends cancellation or postponement of non- essential large public gatherings of 50 people or more. The larger the group, the higher the risk of spreading illness. Even if you are feeling well, avoid visiting hospitals, long-term care facilities or nursing homes. If it is necessary to visit someone there, check on the facility’s rules for visitors before showing up, limit your time there, and stay at least 6 feet away from patients at all times.
Governor Jay Inslee has banned statewide, gatherings of 250 people or more for social, spiritual and recreational activities including, but not limited to, community, civic, public, leisure, faith- based, or sporting events; parades; concerts; festivals; conventions; fundraisers; and similar activities.
Due diligence and proactivity are at the heart of keeping this virus contained.
We ask that you also do your part.
Stay home if you are feeling sick and or showing signs of being sick. If you have a sore throat, fever, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea or have traveled and or been in close contact with anyone who has been confirmed with COVID-19. It is recommended that anyone showing signs of being sick, quarantine themselves at home to avoid the spread of this disease. Contact your local doctor for information on testing for COVID-19.
• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in
the trash and wash your hands.
• Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces.
• Stay at home and away from others if you are sick.
WHATCOM COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT ADVISE:
We recommend that people at higher risk of severe illness should stay home and away from large groups of people as much as possible, including public places with lots of people and large gatherings where there will be close contact with others. This includes concert venues, conventions, sporting events, and crowded social gatherings.
People at higher risk include:
o People over 60 years of age.
o Anyone underlying health conditions including heart disease, lung disease, or diabetes.
o Anyone with weakened immune systems.
o Women who are pregnant.

It takes a village to each do our part in keeping ourselves, loved ones and those in community safe from this virus. Practice mindful awareness toward others, even if you yourself would be fine if you contracted this virus. There are many others with compromised immune systems who do not have this luxury, and could easily be exposed by a carrier without symptoms. If you have any doubts about your health, stay home. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
