Sunday open floor community dance

10:30am with Jenny Macke

We gather on Sunday mornings to practice Open Floor, a conscious dance practice, which offers tools for authentic connection to self, other, community and spirit.  We dance. We release stresses from our week and create space for ourselves and others.   A wide variety of music is played to move different kinds of energy through our bodies, minds, hearts and souls.   We do it alone and together.   No prior experience is necessary.   Just a body willing to move and mind open to let go of things that might be fixed, in order to find more fluidity in our dances and life.   This is a well held space but without a lot of instruction.   For more teaching of the Open Floor practice, we recommend Thursday night, an ongoing group or a workshop.

$15 drop-in; $70 for a 5-class card.

Classes continue regularly throughout the year, and only break if landing on Christmas Day. We dance on Thanksgiving and most other holidays.

Contact: go to www.jennymacke.com or info@jennymacke.com for more info.

Open Floor is a mindful movement practice. There are no steps or right way of doing it. We put our bodies in motion and find creative ways of moving sensations, thoughts and feelings. It's dance, but it’s also more than dance. It's a rich practice that brings more awareness and resources to your moving world. Both on the dance floor and off. From a fun sweaty dance to deep soul searching.... Everything is possible and everyone is welcome on the Open Floor.

Grieving Ground is as it sounds—A ground to be with your grief.
A ground where you can go slow and breathe into the places it hurts to go alone. You don’t need to hold it together here.
